Homelessness
Becoming homeless is a very difficult and stressful time.
Your local authority offers expert advice and help based on your own circumstances. This includes a decision on whether you are homeless in the eyes of the law.
Council homeless teams can also offer temporary accommodation.
Once your homeless status is confirmed by your local council, applications for housing are considered by social landlords.
Wheatley Group's social landlords – Wheatley Homes Glasgow, Wheatley Homes East, Wheatley Homes South and Loretto Housing – have homes in local authority areas across Scotland.
